About

My name is Kiril and I currently spend my time around the campus of the university of Karlsruhe listening to folk inspired indie music.

Among all evils—secretive or evident—in this world, I am convinced that the misuse of bullet lists is receiving disproportionately little attention.

Elsewhere on the Web

I shy away from social networks and regard every registration as a liability. Maybe there already is a precise medical term describing this condition. Until a treatment is found, you could find me exclusively at

Audioscrobbler where I have been logging my listening habits for around 4 years. Some of my favourite music I have found there, but the recommendations service doesn’t work anymore for me. The events notifications, on the other hand, are indispensable.

Goodreads. Until I salvage determination to reflect in written word on what I have read, this site is of no use for me and plan to discard it in favour of a custom book log.

Twitter where I follow people I feel warmly about.

Endorsement

Arch Linux has been my main operating system of choice for about three years now. It makes my computer a joy to work with, making it more responsive convenient. My workflow has benefited enormously since I started using Arch. This would not be possible if there weren’t the great software to complement it. If you’d like to give GNU/Linux a try, I encourage you to try it in spite of it being labeled towards “advanced” users.

I also use Duck Duck Go by default, because I don’t like my search engine trying to outsmart me, personalize my results or being faster than thought.
